Those invited to the reception should arrive at Cherwell Boathouse at 15:00.

Dress Code
Dress to celebrate! Think smart, elegant outfits that feel special for the occasion. No white dresses OR jorts please.

Plus Ones
Due to limited space at our venue, we’re only able to include plus ones where they are specifically named on the invitation. If your invite does not mention a guest, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We really appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.

Children
While we absolutely adore your KIDS, this will be an adults-only event. Thank youfor understanding!

By Train
Both the ceremony and reception venues are walkable from Oxford Station. It is a roughly 15-minute walk to Convocation House, via Hythe Bridge Street, George Street and Broad Street.

The walk to Cherwell Boathouse (reception) is longer (35-40 minutes), although it is a lovely journey, with some great pubs on the way! Alternatively, you can take the number 14 bus from the station to St Margarets Road East, followed by a short walk down Bardwell Road. Taxis are also available around the station.

By Bus/Coach
For our London-based guests, there is also the option of the Oxford Tube which runs 24/7 from a range of locations in London. Multiple stops are also available in Oxford, with High Street being the closest to Convocation House. They come every 20 minutes or so. For Cherwell Boathouse (reception) it would be a 30 minute walk from the same stop, or grab a taxi.

By Car
There is no parking at Convocation House (ceremony) at all. there is  very limited parking at Cherwell Boathouse (reception) but THERE IS some free parking (for 3 hours up to 16:30) on Bardwell Road or Chadlington Road. After that, you are okay until 09:00

Parking is limited in Oxford generally, so we recommend you use Park and Ride. There are five P&R locations around Oxford, the locations of which can be found here.
Some parking can be found around the City, including Westgate Shopping Centre and Gloucester Green. However, these are at a premium and space is not guaranteed! oxford hates drivers!

Overnight Accommodation
Should you wish to stay the night in Oxford, there are plenty of hotels and smaller guesthouses. Cherwell Boathouse list some recommended places on their website here.
It is also worth checking out AirBnB, Booking.com and the university lodgings, which are always very reasonable. There is also a travelodge.
